Deffo melt around here, the roads which aren't even that busy here on a Sunday are clearing from the limited traffic they've had, so I presume the main roads are likely to be snow-less. The NW radar still has whatever is left moving to my east, so the MO forecast for this area seems to be the most accurate.
I'll pop out for a walk in 30mins or so and see what it's like a bit further out.

All stopped now, seems to be already melting off cars which haven't even moved this morning!

Pretty heavy here now, but the radar seems to suggest it's could be clearing to sleet soon!
-
Where is this likely to stall? The radar seems to suggest its more sleet about 30miles south of here and that seems to be heading this direction.
-
Radar seems to suggest we're in the heaviest period around here for a bit, then maybe a second push later - if the front keeps moving in the direction it is right now of course. It's pretty heavy right now to be fair!
-
Pretty heavy here, but maybe on the wetter side? Doesn't seem to be lying on the roads yet or near buildings, just seems to be disappearing when landing. Temp in the garden has risen to 1.3c

Absolutely nothing here (yet) in North Croydon, doesn't look far off mind.

Just about to pop out for my Sunday morning run, although it'll be a lot shorter than usual as I've not run for a month for various reasons.
Was a glorious sunny, blue sky affair about an hour ago, but it looks like the cloud is starting to rear its head (earlier than the MetOffice prediction!) to what seemingly could be a more cloudy afternoon. About 5c in the garden but its not the most accurate sensor on the best of days!

I feel your pain. Our boiler packed up on Friday and no-one can come till Tuesday. The sunshine is helping today as it shines In to the lounge and we have a has fire. Test of the house is freezing through.
We're in a rented property and the landlord want 3 quotes ... so we're still waiting but the guy who came out initially said he was booked up until next weekend anyway! Brrrr

(dodgy) sensor in the garden says 1.7c now, nearest weather station which is 7 miles or so south of here still saying -0.3c.
Sun has come out now around here, so maybe it's less apparent to my south? Will pop out for my daily exercise shortly to catch the best of the day before the chilly evening arrives quickly in a few hours.
-
Still (just) below 0 (-0.3c) at 11am, sun is slowly breaking through the clouds but not the blue skies picture the MetOffice was forecasting for the whole of today.
Looks like we might get a bright few hours before sunset in 4 and a bit hours, before what seems to be another cold night - and my boiler was condemned on Tuesday so still without central heating!

It's been out here, since the mist cleared, MP... The LBC forecast said that Northern Scotty would have the best of the weather, today... Ergo, I cannae imagine what it's like up there!
MetOffice are sticking to their guns on their forecast, light cloud until 1pm then heavier clouds for the rest of the day! Although saying that the sun is becoming (very slowly) more hazy. I'm planning to pop out for my Sunday run in an hour or so, so wouldn't mind a little cloud cover

Sun seems to be breaking though here, where all the weather forecasts seems to have suggested today would be a cloudier day than yesterday. Nearest weather station suggests its just short of 13.4c at present. Seems to be more cloud about mind, so unsure how long the sunnier intervals will last.

On holiday in the North Lakes, near Hutton Roof, things are getting interesting. Persistent heavy rain and frequent thunder and lightning.

Currently 17.5c but we've had rain showers since about 10am, rather than 'from mid-afternoon', just had another downpour and looks like another is on the way in the next 45mins or so.
-
14.9c here so far, been raining since just before 9am, but stopped around 12.30 - although it looks like we could get more in an hour or so.
-
What a difference 72 odd hours makes, I would say today is sunny intervals (at a push), local weather station is at the dizzy heights of 17.2c at 1pm with 32mph gusts.

Is something brewing? It’s got very dark here looks like we might get some rain in the next 15mins or so?

I think that's our lot for this batch of heat. Very windy now, weather station reporting 22km/h, temp has dropped to 25.9c , 29.4c 24 hours ago.
24.7 at 4pm. Oh well ... guess the chances of a storm are reducing as quick as the temperature.

So pretty much no chance down here in South London? We've had a few clouds build, which looked highly unthreatening, have gone again, but the local temp has only risen 0.5c in the last 2 hours, the increasing breeze is holding back the temps.

Similar, looks like it's starting again - admittedly very light - but there's a clear thaw underway.
