    I cant find the archive thread but this is De ja Vue , I swear we went though the same old arguments in 2018 BFTE! at the moment there is still plenty of water pass under the bridge, a wobble here and a wobble there, north, south, east and west. its going to be along winter if this keeps up.     no, i believe the final warming is forecast around mid April according to Marco on twitter.the warming wont last and its not heading for a SSW. im not getting excited about, and the eastly which is being touted is more likely to be a southerly, winter was over for me when the temps hit 15c on new years eve!

    Ramping up here in Frome, some very vicious gusts, 48.5mph so far.

    I’m sorry but the EC 46 is as much use as a chocolate tea pot this winter! It’s been a poor performer. i suspect this winter will go down as poor but unusual as it had all the signs of being a good one, no one saw the high pressure hanging around for as long as it did, for me winter ended on the 31st December when temps hit 15c. i think there’s a lot to learn from this winter and I will be learning a lot,l!

    Just do what I’ve done, I gave up on winter when the temps hit 15c on New Year’s Eve, I’ve just read that La Niña is fading and they expect El Niño to make an appearance this year and if that comes to pass well I dread to think what next winter will be like.

    I wouldn’t pin your hopes on that, looks like the strat and trop are about to couple and remain strong in to February. i hope it doesn’t but with our luck it no doubt will.
