  1. These are my favourite conditions as I don't feel the cold. However in summer 75 degrees and above see me start early and finish early.Anything higher and I get the nadgers.
  2. I'm not too sure either.Asked where the loony Mod Forum had gone and talk switched to IOW..mind you it's not far from me lol
  3. Anyone old enough to remember Bullseye on the telly might understand. Looking at some of the snowscenes on here(not everywhere) from a bone dry New Forest see Jim Bowens words...and this is what you could have won....spring to mind lol
  4. Of course...all police leave has been cancelled crowd trouble expected...hundreds attempting to flee the area.
  5. It will snow.Pink dangling returned blue.No snow I will walk naked down Fordingbridge high St with only a strategic placed Frisbee to protect my modesty
  6. Be ok as long as no warnings issued if there are....stung too often by the dreaded Curse of the Channel Low in the past..even if this isn't one lol
  7. Pembroke Dangler pah we have the Hampshire dangler.Igor Freezemov a Russian genius taught me.You dangle something pink from your bedroom window. If it continues pink its mild.If it comes back blue its turned much colder. If its black snows on the way.If it snaps off panic buy bread and toilet rolls you are snowed in.Will keep you updated.
  8. I predict we will get snow next week. All about small luck margins.I was fishing in the bitter cold this afternoon. Two swans flew over me and the second one crapped on my head. This is meant to be lucky.
  9. Kind of weather related.Im a gardener in the South of England.Just wondered how gardeners in Scotland adapted to the cold and I assume shorter growing seasons
  10. What lovely pictures I thought the New Forest was beautiful but ....
  11. Sad to say in many ways my friends in the tree surgery and fence repair industry will be in urgent demand.
