  1. Definitely something falling out of the sky off the coast (live webcam still) It's nothing really, in the grand scheme of today, but nice to look out for
  2. My take on tomorrow afternoon is..... I have a hospital appointment at 1600 at Guys, near London Bridge. After that I'm getting the hell out of there to home as quick as I can! Southeastern trains are notorious for delays, so hoping to get back for some relaxed radar watching. I'm quietly waiting for my 1 - 15 cms
  3. Currently in Fulham and long standing cars already have frost on them. Car says 3c, which is definitely a lie. Going to be bitter tonight, even in London, and any fog could make for a very wintery scene in the morning. Will be back in SE12 in an hour or so, but have to go into central London tomorrow. Will be radar watching all day for the potential return commute hell!
  4. Finished trainig in Reading early, so now storm chasing along the M4! Theresa lot of something falling out of the sky.
  5. Very big, dark clouds bubbling up to the NW of London. I can see them coming from the 4th floor window here (RG41) Radar hinting at building precip
  6. It's funny how the MO one symbol summary for tomorrow is just white cloud, but you look at the detail at it gives 8/10 hours of snow!
  7. That's what the MO app is telling me for home, and I've banked it!
  8. Temp and DP slowly on the rise now the precip has gone. Still only about 1.5c respectively, but I imagine will fall away as the night goes on
  9. I always wonder that. With the concentration of people, surely there must be a good percentage of members in the center.
  10. It's been fun watching from the west of the region for a change. A few sleety flakes still going past the Travelodge lamppost. It wasn't great here, but sounds like some have had something worth seeing. Now just looking forward to the pain of Thursday's watch...
  11. Elevation wins the day. Glad some of our eastern members have had some good snow.
  12. Actually, it was dark before it started raining, but yes the timing will have had some effect. I'm not saying you won't get snow, but the temps are just not dropping off fast, or low. 1 or 2c lower and it could be very different.
  13. I don't want to put a downer on it, but what is behind the main front isn't very exciting. Still a sleety mix in Reading. When it did snow, it was amazing, but it didn't last long. Temp still hovering around 1c, and DP similar. I'm sure there could be a few localised exceptions, but I'd be surprised if anyone gets anything lying.
  14. So, after heavy rain, then heavy sleet and then 20 minutes of (not lying) heavy snow it turned back to rain for about 40 minutes. Now the temp has dropped to about 0.7c, it's back to sleet/snow mix, but turning more to snow over time. (in Reading)
  15. Temperature has plummeted on the back edge. Sleety mix after the brighter echoes, which were heavy snow. Seems to be coming together rather nicely for south of London though.
  16. Heavy rain quickly turned to very heavy sleet and is now a moderate snow/sleet mix in Reading
