    had atleast the heaviest snowfall here for 10 years have 8-9cms lying snow nearly 6inches in the garden, the snow started falling proper from 2am,but was at it's heaviest from 3am right thorough to 5 30am with near blizzard conditions at times. I'm off out to enjoy it now. did you lot in chelts fair well, still light snow here :o

    Still heavy persistant snow here approaching 4cms, about 5cms in the garden and more on car rooftops. I'm signing off peeps goodnight or shall i say goodmorning.... Im going to savour watching the snow pile up..

    I know how you feel but I can't got really heavy snow here and big flakes aprroaching 3cms now don't hit the sack yet you will miss out

    I think your right, heavy snow back again here just sampled the snow and it's the hardest toughest snow ever not dry and fine like mondays

    brilliant I'm only 25 miles from stroud, Im confident it wont get lighter fingers crossed Im giving it another hour edit heavy snow is back again falling fast

    yes the radar is showing the front of heavy precip in our firing line at the moment approaching the bristol area the real fun and games not far away I feel...... Sounds like you were lucky with the snow then I'm pleased for you, snow starting to fall again

    30 yrs wow it was that bad, it was heavy here but not quite whiteout conditions, the snow is still falling moderatley.

    Still heavy snow here, the flakes are small though I would say I have nearly a cm now like someone said like the size of my small fingernail radar looking promising for later

    I think after 1am and around 2am will be the key period for this area, looking good in stroud 25 miles way the wait is unberable if your a snow lover light snow stopped at present......

    Light snow here on and off for the last half hour..... the meto radar is down

    Hovering around freezing I think..... the breeze is getting up to the closest little rissington recording 0.8c

    Yes I just witnessed some very fine snow grains, this is the start srap yourselfs in for the rollercoaster ride.
