yes exciting developments both the fronts seem to be merging now, this is gonna get interesting It's freezing out there at current snow is in the air

I don't doubt that temp, but it feels a bit colder than that here in tewkes It feels about 1c out side maybe lower, Little rissington is recording 0.3c I think. I reckon we got about another 3-4 hours before we see any snow falling here the front is not in any big hurry yet

well according to the metoffice temp its hovering around the 0c mark here so it should be snow don't know how low dew points are though

that's good, bit mr angwin's forcast just a minute ago, how can I put it he just looked really unsure the snowband looks like framenting slightly further south of say sharpness and frampton on severn area, but the north cotswolds look to fair well later ie chelts tewkes stow on the wold. Let's just wait and see, I think we ought to be a bit more pessimistic now, will just have to wait and see how the next 12hours unfold. He still did say 20cms over higher parts and 3-5cms widely 2-3 inches. :lol:

Just over 4 hours not long, we could hopefully get about 10 hours snowfall but thats being optimistic I reckon, reminds me of the old days, this cloud's getting slightly darker from the west now oh yes snow is in the air love it

I had 3 heavy snow showers last night the 1st not lasting long,the 2nd leaving a thin covering and the heaviest, and the 3rd more wet in nature, get any yourself.

Yes it is looking quite good at the moment for our area, rob m saying some big snow amounts lets hope it wont change........ currently have a thin covering of snow here from a heavy snow shower about 20 mins ago lasted half hour nothing in chelts.

Well s.k I've been having heavy snow here for the last 25mins half hour just recceding now as I type....... the radar shows that line of showers more or less over cheltenham Left a thin covering at present Snow has now stopped, if and when you get it should be quite hefty

It's snowing here at the moment moderate, the 2nd shower of the night so far The latest forcast after the bbc news did show an area of snow over us tonight interesting. Getting heavier big flakes not really pitching at present.... blizzard nearly now this is great You lot in chelt should be getting some snow at present. looking at the radar snow is starting to settle now fast turning white on surfaces.

Really heavy snow shower here right now, huge flakes any in chelts Oh yes i see dogs we didn't have a blizzard here but heavyish for a while humungus flakes stopped now.

I know Metcheck should be taken with an absoloute pinch of salt, but it's forcasting 18 hours of moderate/heavy snowfall right thoroughout thursday, what a joke that must be wrong. I'm not falling for that no way It'll be gone by tommorow I think we will get some snow but not for that duration of time surely
