    ECM has cooler air pushing into western areas into Thursday but with the east hanging onto the heat as another ridge of high pressure pushes North

    Sorry i made a mistake on my last post the overall rainfall from this event was 15.8mm as the time clicked over to midnight the rain total reset and i didn't check it properly.

    8.4mm of rain after all that and it came yesterday evening when the rain finally pepped up after a dull cloudy day.

    Pouring it down now here and just to note how the temp is still 16.1 and has not moved for over an hour now the humidity is still shooting up the rain is getting heavier its also gone misty.

    So judging by the radar things have finally kicked off in the SE and its still moving in a NNW direction oxfordshire could be a good place to set up if they continue there strength

    Thats what i am keeping an eye on still coming from the ENE here but its gone very calm now.

    Thunderstorms look impossible to me with all this annoying mid level cloud about just producing light rain and looks quite messy on the radar.

    Suddenly the temperature is responding and the sun is starting to break through 19.2°C

    Finally hit 18°C but nowhere near the forecast of 22-24°C this mid level cloud has really knocked the temps back.

    Is the netweather radar stuck at 10:10?

    Just hit 16°C here cloud is thinning sun is out but hazy!

    I think a drive east might be required thinking Swindon possibly!

    This cloud cover just won't shift its only 14.7°C need clearance so the temp can nudge up.

    Can see that cell to my SW!

    Winds are more from a NE direction this morning at least when the winds shift to a SW wind ill know the convergence has passed through and that the potential has shifted north! 14.1°C.

    You might not be saying that in a hour or so as cells have popped up out of nowhere and heading in your direction!

    Cells have come from nowhere in the new forest area recently could be the start of something already down there 13.9°C

    On closer inspection the cloud is thinning and the sun has come out 13.7°C need the temp to rise now though and get some surface heat building to help.

    hmm well what a lovely boring dull cloudy morning with temps at 13.2°C and a big downgrade on cape right can't say I am surprised with the amount of cloud about.

    Looks like a general area of heavy rain on the way in a few hours possibly doesn't look thundery inland at the moment.

    It looks very organised at the moment fingers crossed it holds it! 18.0°C 61% Dew P 11°C

    Dew Points could get as high as 19-20°C tomorrow!
