  1. Thunderstorm yellow warning now out for today and a heavy rainfall warning out for tomorrow for the south.
  2. Also a couple of cells north of Swansea - these formed in the last 40 mins
  3. Looking at the radar, a couple of cells have just popped up to the north of Plymouth.

  6. Here's the view looking south east from Swindon toward the M4 motorway.
  7. Drove to Birmingham this morning from Swindon. Had just started snowing in Swindon when I left the house at 6:30. Drove past Birdlip which had a covering and the snow was quite heavy at the top but as soon as I got onto the M5 it was Rain almost all the way to Birmingham apart from by junction 4 of the m5.   10. Definitely a slow thaw going on know the temperature has crept above freezing. Snow still coming down though!
  11. Went for a long walk - a number of roads closed round here but looks beautiful. Driving snow in your face not so pleasant!
  12. Just driven back from Bromsgrove to Swindon. Very little ppn out there but the gritters are working hard on the m5, a417/419
  13. Drove up the a419 through Birdlip and there was a dusting of snow on the top of the hill. Now in Bromsgrove and it's definitely raining here.
  14. Just had a small snow shower here but back to sleet - looking at the radar, the back edge of the PPN is changing to sleet/snow more regularly now.
  15. Heavy shower here in Swindon now, not sure if there's any thunder because the rain is so loud! Edit: Scratch that, just heard Thunder now as the cell is moving away.
