  1. 10 years! 10 years! Don't ruin our relationship now with this negativity. Welcome CheesepuffScott. Love the name!
  2. Bloody hell NEVER go in there, it’s full of naysayers and rampers with no sense of humour. Serial Geeks who in the main read a ladybird book about the weather in 1974 and know it all. ?
  3. I had to Twitter as I can’t cope without this! I’ve been lurking all day whilst pretending to work.
  4. I remember that (Gloucester gal) I went outside in mydressing gown, Pjs and slippers and ran around in it, the snow was up to my knees and the dye from my slippers left my feet blue for ages.
  5. Temp here has dropped 5c in 1/2 an hour and dewpoint is at 0c...oooooh exciting! Hailing like a Tasmanian devil atm.
  6. No I didn't but to be fair I'm watching tele, painting my nails, drinking tea and posting on here like the multi-tasking Queen that I am. I'm also in Bridgwater.
  7. It's snowing in Taunton, dewpoint here is positively tropical so not expecting to see anything. Who's this Robomod chap? He's messaged me and told me I'm not an active member anymore, cheeky beggar!
  8. I have friends in high places, what can I say, I think it's a professional thing Danny, also as soon as he comes on here 90% of people are lovely but the 10% of keyboard warriors want to prove how much cleverer they are than the man with the meteorological degree so I guess it's not worth the grief it causes.
  9. Our favourite Weatherman is unable to play in here but said I should pass on the following message. The message to pass to the regional folk is keep across stratospheric evolution into late Dec-early Jan. Glosea keen on strat warming Jan; hints *perhaps* as early as late Dec. Either way, we suspect blocked, colder wx likely into Jan (as being progged now by GloSea) and clearly any SSW changes goalposts (70% chance it causes blocking NW Europe). Watch this space.
  10. You might find this site handy, its only ooop the road after all. http://www.bridgwater-weather.co.uk/index.php?p=wsStartPage&lang=en
  11. This reminds me of a few years back when we were all huffing and puffing on here and then the streamer started, stalled and it went on for hours, the majority of us ended up with loads of snow that lasted for days because temps were so low. Keep the faith everyone.
  12. Positively tropical here last night, I had to get up and open a window. In fact I'm going to start an Air BnB as some friends of mine in the Caribbean want to go on holiday to somewhere warm for Christmas!
  13. Same here, we will have a good old PM catch up tomorrow as I'm off to my pit now, we will also brag about all of the snow we are going to get overnight
  14. This one is a good one for my area for anyone interested. http://www.bridgwater-weather.co.uk/index.php?p=wsStartPage&lang=en
  15. Temperature 4c, dewpoint -0.5c If it's snowing in Wellington then I want some too.
