Light hearted , a tad silly maybe now and again, but not evil and cut throat.

Very small light patchy areas are popping up but not quite snow yet.... or maybe someone can confirm the first flakes of this new spell?

There is a lot of sporadic green shown on the radar, so thats surely snow over the higher/highest ground in wales. Snow in a few hours for those in east wales maybe, that would be almost within minutes of 8th February if not absolutely bang on 0000hrs 8th february. Come on everyone, round of applause for mr music. I have only used these emoticons as they simulate a round of applause. I have not used these emoticons for the smile on their faces. I would prefer a clapping emoticon which showed no facial emotional expression.

Are you saying that there will be snow on the day you forecast it to do so Andy? You were the only one who got this one bang on! No one else came close. I know how you did it ,not the conventional method of forecasting one should add though.

Yes, i do think that the emoticons dont really add anything to the debate. Often when composing a post , i find my right eye distracted by those pesky emoticons. There really is no need to add a pictoral message, when simple text will suffice. Freezing cold weather really isnt fun for some people.

I hope so. I think that shivering emoticon is not neccesary Andy, i can understand what you are saying without the need for emoticons. Getting a bit silly i think.

Hold my hands up there, i felt i was being sucked into the cult of the groundhog. Phew close call. Anyway been out all morning with the boy and his football team. Not freezing, but a very cold damp misty morning,3 or 4 degrees id guess. Would have preferred mild drizzle to this. Dont mind very cold and clear , but cool misty and damp a big no no. Lets get the frosty evenings and crisp clear days in ,then a snow event by the end of the week hopefully.

There may have been the odd blip, snow at 8 degrees, the -12 degree celsius forecast, and other minor items,but this happened all before Andy found his groundhog. Nobody else thought of looking to the groundhog for advice. Whilst we were all scratching our heads and the models flipped one way then the other, Andy thought outside of the box. Positive thinking will bring the snow to Wales. If we all follow Andys lead and think it will happen, then as a collective unit, the huge will and desire will suck the snow over Wales. Andy knows everything that will happen, he predicted in the freezer by February 8th from many weeks ago. Andy is the all seeing eye.

Good afternoon to you all. I would like to clear something up here. If ANDY MUSIC says it will snow a week after it does in USA ,then that is what will happen. Fact, opinion,theory,myth, what ever. If ANDY says so, then it is so. The oracle has spoken,there will be heavy snow within one week.

The ECM and GFS are really showing signs of something , and its been really great model watching!!. Lets hope we dont get the "downgrade" mob on here, with the slightest variation.

Lol i know, it does not really matter what your input is. If you start every post with a generic one like " The ECM and the GFS are showing signs of something, and this is great model watching", then after that you can write what you like. The snow shield will be erected for this evening, and removed tomorrow, i have been punished by myself now.

3 DAYS TO ANDY MUSIC DAY. Whoop de whoop de whoop whoop. Come on Andy ! I feel i must apologise for my conduct yesterday evening on the model output thread. I tried to stop myself but i just could not. I posted a message which read "Did somebody mention a DOWNGRADE" It was deleted straight away,by the mods. I just could not resist the urge to throw in a little grenade. I regeret my actions and i am sorry. Therefor as punsihment i will install a snow shield around my house for one day.

Oh dear, i hear murmurings on the model output thread, potential downgrade alert !!! Get out there Andy !! its not in the bag yet !!

Showing up in the reliable time frames now Andy!! 80/20 in favour of cold cold cold now id say , get it in then lets have a few snow showers perhaps! Stalling front mixing with cold air monday over wales (just watching sky forecast at mo), snow likely over higher ground !. Further good news for you Andy , the court date has been put back until 10th February, and i overheard the judge muttering to his colleagues, that they were worried they may not be able to make because of pending cold weather. Plus there will be a special announcement on Sunday 7th February, and i suspect the case may not even come to court, with even a pardon and an apology issued to yourself from the queen herself. Ok enough of all that crap, It looks like the cold is almost nailed on,the next thing in a few days will be looking for any snow showers. Even with no snow, i much prefer cold and crisp to mild and drizzle.

No probs lol. If we do get the cold in , then like i said , i think the minimum we could expect would be some kind of breakdown event if nothing else. A breakdown like the other tuesday would be just fine by me to sign off the winter. A couple more cold weeks please , then straight to early spring ,with +15 and sunny, just perfect. Shall i get extra supplies of hob nobs for my lamposts?

Id guess at the very least we would get a breakdown event out of it perhaps?

5 DAYS TO THE WEATHER CRIMES TRIAL OF THE CENTURY. It would seem things have turned once more , and this time in your favour Andy. However, even though the snow was mighty close to you, i am assuming you did not find that snow flake? (You or any machinery are not permitted to travel in a upward direction, of more than 6 foot from the top of your roof, to find the flake). So that rules out home made rockets with mobile phones attatched. Tick tick tick tick tick tick..... what will it be? It was on then it was off, then it was on again, then it was cruelly off for a second time, however another turn ,and could this be third time lucky? Perhaps the models took heed of what the groundhog did yesterday? Some good news for you though Andy, as i have been informed that the trial may be delayed by up to two days, should the beasterly appear on the horizon on the 8th. This horizon is within a forecast of pending said beasterly arriving within 48 hours. Keep trying !!
