    Just watched Rob on the BBC weather and he is up to his little sayings again he said 'It doesnt look much like winter on Friday with these temperatures however that's Friday'. Just a few weeks ago he said on a forecast 'and then there is Monday ha ha ha'. Seems to me that he is sure of the very cold returning but what do they know at the BBC after the forecasting of late, but it's a very interesting situation when Rob says things like that he is the only forecaster I take notice of.

    Lol they did not upgrade the warnings for London until 4.31 am so maybe later for Herts. just maybe lol

    Still hasn't arrived in Hertford but it won't be long now 2cm Bluebreezer54 with a few more to come. How deep is it now Yamkin?

    how long do you think the snow will continue ? It still has not reached here yet but I hope it will in the next half hour, just listened to the forecast on LBC they said snow for several hours and continuing into the afternoon with heavier snow particularly North of London.

    I think the SE will wake up to a big surprise in the morning most folk probably watched the earlier BBC forecast.

    I'm still here just keeping my mouth shut and waiting for the nowcast situation to happen what with this being a marginal forecast, I hope the wicked wind from the South don't spoil it and the nice wind from the East does its thing. The Blizzard of Oz will be very happy.

    What radio 4 ? Ah well at least I will get some good sleep during the night now, so much for the icy snowy conditions continuing are you sure it was not for later in the week temps were predicted to rise slightly?

    The band is getting larger enough to cover EA and the SE, been tracking the snow from Germany joining the Holland snow now and swinging into this band, some thunder snow over Germany aswell. Great watching this even if I dont get any snow out of it, thats what its all about not just the snow lovers at the window. Im sad I know lol

    Got a few flakes around 4 pm but the main band just missed us by a whisker, 5 inch last Wednesday still laying good out here in the Country and the snow fields.

    I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad I hope it dont been tracking it since 9 pm. Edit: I won't go to bed until it gets to land and then I will be promted to stay up even longer it's been a long old frustrating night but I think and of course hope its worth it even though its light snow its been incredible radar watching tonight.

    Looks like the band for Kent is just to the East of this band steering towards EA good few hours yet though, maybe 11 am ish.
