    Yes that would be nice. The NE / Northumberland coast always gets the tastiest showers. Ok we live inland and that has its benefits sometimes as we know.!

    Yeh same here. Didn't here anything on the conservatory roof. The snow is extremely granular and blowing arond like confetti in the bitter wind on the patio

    Plenty of snow showers this morning and a lull this afternoon until 10 minutes ago when we had a decent one. Showers certainly lining up now and wind increasing.Love a NE / E wind as the conservatory takes a real pounding. Looking forward to a great nite in there tonite; snow showers, gusty wind. Aren't we sad....

    Heavy ish snow / graupal shower here at present. Heavy enough to leave dusting on bins, shed roof etc. and enough to get kids in from playing out.

    Thick frost this morning. Temp slowly creeping up now from overnight low of -2.3C. A lovely sunny day again for the kids and dads off on half term...

    ! Left Otley at 5pm and got to Pudsey at 7.35pm !!!! There was a good 7-8cm up there at LBA as there is here. Would be surprised if all of it goes! I love the snow but it really pi**ed me off today as it took so damn long to get home!

    Certainly is Jed. I am leaving Otley in about an hour. The roads around Horsforth / Yeadon / pudsey are supposed to be bad. I am hoping everyone has left early.>>!

    Pepped up again here in Otley. calmed down nicely whilst I got my sandwich. The heavier part of the band is approaching but hope the pennines doesn't drain it!

    Heavy snow now in Otley covering surfces nicely. Certainly pepped up in last half hr.

    Snowing in Otley now. Small flakes but this is the leading edge. Looking at the cumbria cams they are getting a good dumping there. My mum is reporting very heavy snow and settling well even a mile inland from the coast there.

    Light snow shower here about 8.15am this morning. Surprise but nice to see. Gonna be in Cumbria til Monday but hope to come back to snowy W Yorks...!
