Yep again on a hill here but down in Leeds city centre I reckon the Aire will come over somewhere..? Already flooding in lancs / cumbria and all to come off the hills there too. I hope everybody is safe......!

Yes was in full flow going past the Yorkshire Post building at teatime. Will be walking past there in the morning when all has trickled down from the hills...!

Heavy persistent rain and gusting winds here more like November than June... As a Cumbrian I hope the rains stop soon up there. I already see the Duddon is flooding, as are many rivers. I do not wish a repeat of 2009 when a policeman lost his life just doing his job. Mind you the Aire in Leeds is looking dangerously high so I hope nobody goes near

Heavy t-shower here in Pudsey with a decent crack of thunder a minute ago. Absolutely black towards the west of here. Anyone copping it in Bradford / Queensbury ???

Gone very dark here and heavy rain falling. First rain for 10 days here if I'm right? Not sure if sferics are within this but certainly hammering down..

Tbh shocking meto forecast last night for today.. was supposed to be dry, odd shower. It hasn't stopped raining here all day bar 10 minutes. Really surprised nobody has mentioned what tomorrow would have bought in mid January perhaps ????

Aaron My drive and cul de sac are still covered in hail that hasn't melted since that huge shower at teatime. The hail was 2-3" deep in places..! Certainly the core of the cell was West Leeds as there was only a litte hail armley / wortley way.. -

Certainly seemed west Leeds / Bradford / Queensbury copped for it overnight. Could hear the NE wind hammering the back of the house creating good drifting. A real proper Nor Easter?? Had a nightmare drive to Otley this morning however little snow in Otley. Less than I thought on the Chevin too. Temp 2c at present. Slushy on roads. Got some pcs of member of staff in Queensbury and good 2 -3 ft drifts showing.

A good 3 -4 inches here and good drifting up the conservatory door. Gonna be tricky drive to Otley..

Hi S B Yes been snowing up here since approx 7.30pm. Decent covering on cars, grass, pavements etc. Should start to build as temp drops and heavier stuff goes through.

It is bloody baltic. Just been to get some milk from the shop and thats the coldest wind all winter. Heavy driving snow too starting to settle nicely..

I think that report was from Leeds city centre not Summer Blizzard's 'home'. Can certainly vouch that is is snowing heavily in Pudsey near him at 185m asl. Sticking to grass, cars etc. Strong gusty NE wind hammerin the back of my conservatory as I sit in there looking at the patio I sunbathed on less than 1 week ago..... :lol:
