Sounds like it's getting worse again out here (NW Norwich). Most rain we've had today now falling. Is this the tail end?
-
Nice covering of snow in NW Norwich tonight, more than a dusting but not enough to build a snow gerbil.
-
Rain has hit north Norwich now.

Indeed, so still in Norwich right now. Cloudy now after a lovely crisp sunny day. I wonder what we'll get tonight, wife got to be at work for 4am so hope not too windy.

Thunderstorm in NW Norwich! Not had rain this heavy for a long time.

Blowing a blizzard out here in NW Norwich! Really big flakes settling on cars and grass. But the wind is really cutting. Wasn't expecting this tonight. -

Oh the irony of it all – so last night we had some snow, a few showers which left a covering on grass and cars but mostly melted or turned to slush on the roads. Some places were clear altogether, others had no more than a few mm. This morning it took me two hours to drive about 10 miles due to people getting stuck in this thin layer of slush. Ok a few hills but this is flat-as-a-pancake Norfolk and with careful driving all roads were passable. I’ve got through the traffic quicker with a thick layer of snow – maybe cars grip better in fresh snow as opposed to slush. Anyway still no real snowfall to talk about in Norwich, not as much as was forecast anyway. -

Well in Norwich if all this rain had fallen as snow these past few days we would have a great snow level, but it hasn't so we don't. Here's hoping the next few days bring us something that the models were predicting. -

I've heard that the BBC app doesn't use that good a quality data so take what it says with a pinch of salt - I've had lovely sunny days when the app was saying I should be building an ark and ordering animals into it two by two! -

As a snow lover it's good that I don't trust the BBC weather app on my phone as it shows only rain in Norwich for the coming days and temps up to 4 or 5c! -

Hmm. BBC weather app shows 9c max for me Wednesday. Thursday looks colder but dry and then the cold continues but I'm concerned that PPN will be nowt so no snow in Norwich. We often are on that cusp of two far inland to miss costal showers but not inland enough for real cold temps. Will be interesting few days.... or weeks if the cold sticks around. -

Lovely heavy snow shower about 9.30am today in Norwich, settled well but it's nearly all melted now in the sunshine. Anyway great to see some after a couple of years. -

So has this storm tracked further south than first thought as Norwich is fairly calm? A bit breezy but less than yesterday, wet but not pouring with rain. Fingers crossed this is all we'll get.- 1,436 replies

Blimey, I'm doing well out of this! Started snowing about 2.30pm and still going now although maybe not as much settled as I would thought - somewhere in the region of a couple of cm's, but then anything this time of the year is nice to see. Wonder what I'll wake up to tomorrow?- 807 replies

Coming down heavier in Norwich (snow that is). Laying nicely on the grass and other surfaces. Paths are just slush at the moment but I suspect it will stick more as the temps drop. If it freezes tonight there will be a lot of ice about.- 807 replies

Lovely huge flakes of snow in Norwich, started about 4.45pm and still going. Roads were getting tricky but not really settling on concrete but cars and grass covered. More than I thought...
