    Come again? I ain't been on here today.......and I know Dave said we would get some snow (and he should know!), but 15 cm on top of the few that remain over the past few days? Wow.

    Well after waking up to a couple of inches of snow this morning, then maybe a couple of showers, the weather has been mainly sunny with temps not far off 3c! Snow melting, no more falling. Is that it for Norfolk then? Well at least we had some I suppose, but what are the indicators for more tonight/tomorrow and into the weekend?

    Snowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Woken up to maybe a couple of inches of snow. A few breaks in the cloud but more in the distance. Fantastic.

    Ooooo, tough call. Well I hope you get a pasting of snow to wake up to, it all melts just before your appointment, then when you are safely home, it snows like the proverbial and replaces what has melted. I can't promise anything but I'll have a word with mother nature for you tonight.... :lol:

    Hi Dave, it is looking good on the radar for the sticky-outy bit of East Anglia, AKA not-very-snowy-so-far-Norfolk! Wonder how quick it will pass through as I believe the winds are to pick up? Fingers crossed it being on a NE wind and it makes it over to you too.

    Lovely blue skies here, cloud cover decreasing rapidly. Temp not far off 2c. Who mentioned the frozen north? Glad to see some of the snow pics on here - fingers crossed I can put some of mine up over the next few days when the real snow arrives here.

    That is how I felt a few weeks back when we had the last big snowy spell - a huge swath a snow cloud coming down the north sea and into EA on a NE wind, and when it hit land it split into two banks with Norwich in the middle. It was like the parting of the sea! Amazing to see on the radar.

    Any updates on potential for a (at the moment) fairly dry Norwich? We are one of the very few left in the yellow regions of the Met Office warnings! Come to daddy, you naughty snow! Come and sit on my naughty step for a few days......

    Yes, I have a bad feeling about this - every which way you turn we are either too far N/S/E/W to get hit. Very bizarre really, mother nature!

    Well in Norwich mother nature has been giving us a very light dusting of snow, really fine stuff that hasn't stuck everywhere. Blue skies in patches now and now more snow dust. Is that it for today and do we have to wait until later this week or is the PPN just too far west for us?

    For us in the north eastern area of east anglia, AKA Norwich, the models are pointing to the snow band not reaching as far east as first thought - is this correct? Will we be on the edge of the big one?

    Anybody hazard a guess at what the snow (if any of course!) will be like in Norwich, heading due east, on Friday? We have friends travelling from Norwich to Leicester on Friday and I'm wondering what sort of trip they might be in for? Of course I could get my crystal ball out but it never did work that well.... ;-)

    Norwich had a nice dusting of snow overnight and a few top-ups during the day - nice to see. Temps down to about -2c tonight.

    Interesting - up here in the frozen north (Norwich), I was trying my very best at Torvill and Dean this morning - it was like an ice rink outside, the car was like an ice cube and traffic on the side roads were not able to make it up any hills (we do have hills in Norwich). I wonder if this bodes well for any PPN to fall as snow earlier in the week?

    The norwich thaw continues - temps up to nearly 2c and snow melting away. Is this it now for the next few days?

    As nice as the snow is..........I've give up trying to get to work this morning as the traffic is at a standstil into the city. Roads are icy/slushy but going slow is fine - suspect everyone is going slow and only a few through each phase of traffic lights means the traffic just piles back for miles. Oh well, it is pretty to look at (the snow, not the traffic). So are we going for a thaw yet or will this hang around for a while?

    Snowing in Norwich again! Fairly heavy, and after only a little snow melt today this is great. So far I'd say a good 5/6 cm's after yesterday and last night (going by car roof stats! So how much more is coming our way tonight/tomorrow?
