  2. poor Tuscaloosa i typed it into youtube search it seems to be bit of a tornado magnet its been hit bad several times over the years death toll now reported in all states 172 in this outbreak
  3. must say the structure on that storm incredible lots of people seem to be uping there videography efforts i think youtube must take credit for it as people look see others efforts and try hard to emulate the best videos are quite often out of the storm not right in it getting pounded might be exciting but you don't get to see the whole thing
  4. so did i about 2 woke up at 4 went to bed for a couple of hours ups van driver lives to tell the tale http://stormvisuals.com/blog/ he got out and sheltered under the bridge by his discription others could not get there cars under bridge i suspect blocked by those that got there first if thats correct do they never take note of advice why dont,t they just keep driving away in my opinion if you got time to get out and shelter under a bridge you must have time to drive away unless road is blocked one of the news channels put 72 dead across 4 states several hundred severly injured they did not give a figure

  11. this morning when checking out the damage on little rock news stations there was some pictures by one of there stormreporters trapped in a traffic jam stretching back over 2 miles caused by drivers sheltering under a bridge he had to sit it out in the storm with lots of others unable to drive away it looks like those under the bridge where well out of it !
  12. just been looking at the radar and sattelite pics still some severe storms about the storms that effected DFW area are just about to clear the coast east of Houston the storms further north are pushing well east now so the air looks to be clearing for lots of convection to get going another big day in prospect i think there may be cells kicking off early again today i would head for NE. texas and take it from there as the nowcasts come in i dont want to be too far north though as want to catch the tail end storms or anything that breaks out of the lineup

  15. some convective cloud now building over Oxford looking se there are some juicy looking CBs forming, to nw very hazey now but did see a large anvil in it a long way off did see a flash of lightning in it but too far away to here thunder hope it lasts till i finish work
  16. finished work at 10pm then home watched GRLevel3 to 3am and watched several cams and listened to weather radio lots of action suprised no one posting on here Lambert-St Louis International Airport reportedly closed TFN. http://www.dailymail...-concourse.html & http://www.ksdk.com/...s-St-Louis-area Passengers were still sat on planes on ground when storm came through trapping them on there aircraft for some time as a lot of the ground equipment was blown about and damaged
