Snowing on and off here since 2pm, some blizzard conditons mixed in with some nice mammatus clouds at the end of some of the showers. B)

Had 3 very heavy snow showers here in Glasgow,, snowlines is about 600feet, wish I had a camera so I could show everybody the snow!

First of the real snow showers has just arrivd with us now, the rain has increasingly been turning to sleet and now snow all day, and now it is starting to settle on the ground.

Just had a torrential hail shower leaving slush everywhere, only lasted a minute.

My thermometer dropped 2C but is starting to rise again.

Snow lying now near Falkirk,roads white,pavements and roofs white.Temperature still on the wrong side of freezing for 100% retention of accumulation.

Good stuff mate. I think nay showers than fall now will settle as temp is now hovering arounf freezing, I could see a couple of inches tonight and so could most prople in the Central Belt!
