Just had a brief but heavy snow shower about half an hour ago. It was the snow pellet kind and has given us a dusting which is a nice bonus. :D

Didnt see the snow falling, but from nothing about nineish to a decent covering now. It must have snowed quite hard. Hope plenty more overnight, might get a toboggan session after all :D it's been pitiful so far this year, despite all the hype.

moderate snow shower good dusting everywhere

Few flakes in the air here now.

That`s snow falling on 5/6 days in this current spell .

Quite unusual for these parts as its so late in the season.

Regards,

Tom.

Earlier in East Norwich there was a lovely covering. Came down quick and stuck as roads had dried out today. Enough covering to get the ABS and traction control going. However North Norwich had a small shower that soon vanished.

Weather Update:

just put the dogs out before i go to bed and we must have had quite a snow shower in the past few hours, we have a good covering here. Its not a thick covering by any standards but a covering it is, quite suprised anyhow.

been away from the site for a day or so due to forecast fatigue, but felt that this quite outta the blue event had to be logged.

Just drove from Eastwood to Shoebury through a very heavy and blustery snow shower where it was settling nicely on the roofs etc. Got home to Shoebury to find a very minute dusting on a few cars! Shoebury the snowless land :D

Moderate snow falling in Hythe, Kent a dusting so far. Haven't seen any charts or tv forecasts today so I don't know if it's just an odd shower or more prolonged?.

I know this should be in the media thread but I jjust caught the latest news24 weather and yes snow showers are predicted :) throughout the night in essex, kent and east anglia and more in the morning before probably turning back to rain.

Sorry mods for posting in wrong thread but I thought it deserved a reply :D:D:mellow:

A nice 0.5cm from a 40 minute shower of at times heavy snow, roofs, cars and parts of the road covered, looks lovely.
