Absolutely vile morning, now mod rain (was heavy around 5-7am). Looking at the radar it ain't finished yet. Gloomy too. Yesterday the frontal cloud crept in during the evening, first drops around 11pm.

It's absolutely ghastly - muggy and autumnal with really fine rain that gets you soaked in only seconds!

Isn't it amazing how the weather can be like Spain one day and Norway the next. Yesterday had blue skies and a high of 25C whereas this morning I was woken up by the sound heavy rain on the trees in my garden - I left the window open last night. Wet and miserable it is. The BBC say it will brighten up later on and my website is also saying that to some extent.

Well the early morning clearance came --and went ,it has been raining again for the last half an hour,temperature 14.7c,humidity 92%, wind very light and variable,barometer 1017 mb and rising slowly. I reported earlier that it looked like the BeeB's forecast for this area was right but it looks now as though they got it wrong.
