Another 26 mm in the rain gauge at midnight. What a wet start to the month.

My predictions for the weekend.....

winds will be from ESE..rain across east coast/wales/midlands....pushing north throughout the course of saturday .by saturday dinner time low pressure would have reached the east coast ,northern england and the borders winds ESE,

with rain.

by sunday the low will reach whole of northern england,and scotland,

by monday if my readings are correct ,we should be getting those northerlies again

with some strong winds in northern ireland,,,also looks like there is an occluded front pushing south ..

hope these readings are correct if not can someone please put me right

Early showers now cleared but an obvious converyor belt of towers to the NW/N/NE moving up the Bristol Channel and along the M4 corridor.
