Still snowing here after 2 hours

Snow all but gone here, mostly slush. Windy (average speed 18mph). 4 mm. of rain.

Good example of altitude and UHI effect on the way to work today:

At home some light snow and a patchy dusting.

Sevenoaks to Orpington (110m), moderate snow and up to 2 - 3 cm coverage.

10 miles from central London inwards, just drizzly and dreich.

Yesterday (29th) we had a little very light snow falling between 2100 and midnight.

Today there was a spell of moderate snow early this morning which gave another 3cm before turning to freezing rain.
