We have woken up to no snow - not even a proper frost!!!

Could anyone from Dorset please post their findings? I want to make a trip within a 50 mile radius to pay homage to the snow. Many snowfull thanks!

Snow grains still falling from an overcast sky - although the weather is starting to clear. At 7.20 we had moderate snow and fog - cloud base lower than my location.

Easterly wind picking up as 10-15kts.

2.5cm of lying snow even on roads.

Snow flurries at West Hampstead this morning as I passed through around 7.15am.. Looking darker out to the east as I look from Canary Wharf, visibility good across London, just a bit hazy..

Did notice a profusion of seagulls this morning at home, which may signal bad weather coming inland

Started to snow here at about 0825 and is very dark. Interesting that the 0800 radar only shows a small light area of precip in the area. Anyway first lying snow of the winter here!

snowed all day yesterday and is still snowing now. About 2 inches lying on the paths and roads. Looks brighter now so doubt we are going to have any more for a while!

Wet snow late yersterday evening began to settle around 0100. The snow was never more than moderate but as the temp' fell below 0c it froze to everything and we now have an Alpine scene (when you can see it through the fog ).

A little very fine snow still falling, average depth is 5.6cm.

Temp' -0.5c.
