Light snow shower just passed, nothing on radar though so must of been a rogue shower

ditto here. very fine granular dusting over cars.

Very heavy sleet falling here. You can make out some ice in it as it hits the car wind screen.

Snowing very lightly in Rushden too. The light rain turned back to snow sometime between 10-11pm. Currently 0.7C with some more organised precipitation not too far away...

Light snow in Brum since around midnight. Larger flakes since about 1.30am but not sticking to wet surfaces.

Had snow falling in Leicester for about 1 and a half hours, just stopped now but has settled on cars and grass, that band of PPN is very borderline as to whether it hits me again later or not!

At the minute we now have Moderate/Heavy snow and it has turned the road and pavements from soaking to white in 15 minutes :):):)

Snow here too - we just caught the edge of the band I think and had heavy snow for about an hour whhich has eased off now - we have a covering everywhere though, including the roads whoch weren't gritted :)

Looking at the radar I would guess that might be our lot.

Snowing out of thick fog. Very wierd. Been sleeting/snowing all night but not really settled here. High ground though has loads.

Well it's been raining heavily during the night in Shropshire but it's finally turned back to snow this last hour. The ground is so wet though, at the moment it's got no chance of sticking. :(

I've missed the snow falling, but overnight, a nice covering on most surfaces (not on some pavements, and no roads), which was a nice surprise really.

No more than 0.5-1cm of snow where its layed mind.

Also the add flake falling since i've been up.

Well, I made it home in one piece. Snowing quite heavily all the way but it has stopped here now and left a covering of about 2 cm (side roads included!) :(

Edit: Light snow started again at 7.25.

Lots of settling snow here in Telford. Measured an inch on the bonnet of my car (used a tape measure, no no arguments on depth).

Differences with snow depth in only a few metres elevation. Priorslee village had about an inch when I left for work, with all roads covered, including some of the main ones. When I got to work on Stafford park, the pavements just had a dusting, nothing on the car park, and under a cm on the cars.

I've just checked, and it's settling everywhere at work now. Big flakes, and a light covering of the car park over a couple of minutes.

No chance of the roads getting covered, as I work next to the gritting depot!

We have woken up to no snow - not even a proper frost!!!

Could anyone from Dorset please post their findings? I want to make a trip within a 50 mile radius to pay homage to the snow. Many snowfull thanks! :(
