UK Outlook for Monday 26 Oct 2009 to Wednesday 4 Nov 2009:

A bright morning for most on Monday, but further rain is expected to spread to western areas later on Monday with the east continuing drier and brighter. Strong southerly winds will develop. Tuesday is likely to be a wet day for most with rain or showers. Temperatures near or above normal. Wednesday through to Friday looks like it will form into a southeast-northwest split with heavy rain or showers and strong southerly winds in the north and west with the southeast remaining drier and clearer with possible overnight mist and fog problems. Some ground frost may develop in the east. For the weekend and early part of next week it looks as though it will continue in a similar pattern with the southeast drier, and the west and north wetter.

UK Outlook for Friday 6 Nov 2009 to Sunday 15 Nov 2009:

During Friday or early Saturday a band of cloud and locally heavy rain is expected to cross the country from the west, accompanied by some strong winds. This will be followed by a cool, showery regime, with showers most frequent and heaviest in the west, and cold enough for sleet or snow over the highest ground in the north. This very unsettled pattern, with showers or longer outbreaks of rain, and sometimes with strong winds is likely to continue for much of the period. However, more sheltered eastern parts will have light winds at times and be at risk of some slight overnight frost. Somewhat drier and milder conditions may develop in southern and eastern parts later in the period.

UK Outlook for Tuesday 17 Nov 2009 to Thursday 26 Nov 2009:

The general weather pattern is likely to remain unsettled throughout the forecast period with the wind blowing from a southwesterly quarter for most of the time. We can expect showers or longer spells of rain across the United Kingdom, the rain occasionally becoming heavy and prolonged, especially in northern and western areas, and the showers turning wintry at times on the higher of the Scottish mountains. There will also be some drier, brighter spells, the best of these most likely to develop in southern and eastern areas, especially during the second week. It looks likely to be windy at times with gales near coasts and over hills, especially in the northwest, and the temperature will most likely be close to or slightly above the November average.

Yep! Although they are only expecting temperatures to be close to or slightly above the norm ATM. Still a disappointing outlook though.

Very unsettled and at times windy weather is expected to persist across the United Kingdom throughout this forecast period. There will be further spells of rain interspersed with clearer or brighter conditions, but also showers. Some of the rain or showers will be heavy, especially across western hills. Some drier interludes are also expected for some eastern and southern areas especially. Strong winds or gales are likely at times too, especially in the north and west with a risk of severe gales early in the period. Temperatures should remain above average to very mild, though there are indications that it may turn a little colder later, towards the end of next week, with showers turning wintry over northern hills and an increasing risk of overnight frost in the north.
