I would say that it won't be too hot a summer so I'll go for 32.5°C as the max, probably in late July at a guess Sunday 20th.

An Asteroid the biggest ever is going to hit the sun and the sun will explode. So 20000000C will be the highest followed by one heck of an ice age.

39C somewhere in late July.

I'll have a total guess and say 34.5C, hot but not record breakingly hot, I'm expecting a fairly decent summer hopefully but any very warm/hot spells will probably be balanced out by westerly breakdowns by a fairly active jet.

31.5°C - a pretty average summer I reckon.

We didn't get above 25°C last summer, the first time in 12 yrs of my records.

21.4 degrees at Faversham on October 28th following the wettest and coolest Summer on record.

Alternatively, if I am forced to play properly..... 21.8 at Faversham.....

OK, OK

34.1 Heathrow during an otherwise damp Summer.

i never had a 30oC last summer, id say warmest day 31oC in London area around 15th July, coolest day (well 2 weeks and wettest spell of summer 08 obviously 23rd june-6th July)

coolest day 25th june 08 13oC probably something like this B) www.wetterzentrale.de/archive/ra/1997/Rrea00119970626.gif covers on all day wimbledon spectators in winter woolies

I'm expecting an unexceptional summer (but hopefully drier than the last one!). Let's say 31.5 at Gravesend.

Around 33c I'm guessing down London way. Hopefully coming as part of a long, reliable summer of sunshine and steady warmth (~25-27c maxes) as opposed to a miserable cool one with the odd searing plume of heat.

August 1997 was the second hottest August on record, i'm sure most would take a cold June just to get a near record hot July or August.
