6.35am I had my first snow shower this winter! Settled on cars but all gone now.

woke up today to a dusting of snow at 7:00 I just hope that theres more on the way!!

late report as I have been away for a couple days, yesterday overnight saw some flurries which settled on roadside and cars but quickly melted - some patches clung on in the shade in places for a while. Insignificant amounts but nice to see nonetheless.

Soft hail with some snow and sleet thrown in — very gusty in the showers. A hill to my NE (Clee Hill near Ludlow) is white! It's about 1300 feet (I'm at 200 feet).

Wintry showers overnight followed by heavy snow showers this morning. These being driven on a Severe Gale 9/Storm 10 wind producing blizzard conditions at times.

Very heavy snow shower just passed through Swindon at 09.15, almost blizzard like.Much to the amusement of my kids........unfortunately only a shower, skies are now blue.
