Down to -6.0c now, skies are clear according to the crystal clear moon so that should keep tumbling.

Temps holding at 2.3c no doubt due to the complete cloud cover we 'enjoy' here. Once again North Sea low cloud plagues our region! Instead of bitingly cold with crystal clear skies we get raw cold and orange skies... Getting a bit boring!

-6.3c now but starting to level off somewhat, so a minimum of -7c looks likely, some way off the -9.9c which is the lowest I have ever seen here.

The temp got down to -6.3C last night not bad considering the gizmo is right next to the house and i live in quite an urban setting. A very bright day with just a bit of cloud building around midday but this soon cleared away to leave a fine day.

Current temp is already -5.1C but an hour ago it was -5.3C so the temp seems to be rising slightly even though the skies are clear :lol:

The ground/grass is absolutely rock solid after last nights frost. I really hope Tuesday night brings a REALLY severe frost becuase i have heard thats the coldest night of next week.
