I have to say I feel a little bit short changed  !

I looked at the accumulated snowfall on Netweather Extra Radar and my house sits right in the middle of a blue bit (3-4cm), and all around me there is green and light green squares (between 4 and 12cm). And I can confirm this is accurate!

That said, it's chucking down just now :D !

Thanks Mike, It's great isn't it. We've waited a long time for an event like this

Mrs A-M went off to work at 9:00 and the place where the car was sat now has about a centimetre of fresh snow which came in a hefty shower that has just stopped. Sun's out now.

After a short spell of sunshine, the snow is falling heavily again :)

Yep you have a shower over you now by the looks of things, quite potent, on track to reach here!

Almost continuous light snow here in Halifax. Seems all the heavier stuff is skirting above or below us! How much do you reckon we'll get around here tonight when the heavy stuff hits?

Yes you're spot on - it's snowing fairly heavily once again.

These showers definitely seem to be becoming a lot more frequent
