Not sure there is a front coming down from the north.

The South West Wales snow front of today is moving very slowly north west. I know it's against 'the forecast', but ATM I really do see this heading much further west than progged. Obviously the precipitation will develop/spread further east than it currently is, but I see no reason why this won't follow a similar path to today's snow!

I'm happy to be proved wrong. Just thought i'd get down from the fence!

PS Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit lampost watching...

... I thank-you.

Just thought I'd give myself a quick pat on the back!

Benb 1 Met Office/BBC 0.

Get in there!

I had a gut feeling this was heading on for Wales. Great stuff. Let's hope I can get a good dumping from this.

SouthWest is Best.........

What annoys me with the Met office is they issued the forecasts at 655/7pm & they were already wrong-

Why not look at the poxy radar-!!!!!

Good luck for tonight guys- blow it this way to the Bexleyheath alps...

S

Yes Steve. and most of the South west NW members were calling it right, like last night! The METO are the professionals getting paid to forecast!

I'm waiting for a break in the snow so I can take some pics, but it's still absolutely pelting it down out there.

Hopefully the heavier stuff will hit South Wales, you never know it might change direction and head east

Just checking out the radar movements and where it is right now.

Goodness me was the forecast I saw at 18.30 and then locally at 18.55 totally wrong!

Somerset was predicted, less than 3 hours ago, to miss out and that could get much more than Wiltshire which was forecast to be worse affected.

A difference of approx 50 miles makes a huge difference.

Heavy snow still falling, went to move the car to a better location earlier (parked on bend on a hill.....not a good idea) saw the biggest flakes for a long time in almost whiteout conditions. Pretty sure I saw a flash of lightning too. Already it seems a deeper amount than Tuesday.

I know, I know! :D Then there is the stuff Blast and Roger J Smith have forecast for Tuesday, too. That would be round 5. :D

Is it just me or is gloucester useless at anything other than sun.

No grit for snow.

No barriers for rain.

What next.
