Snowing quite heavily for the last half hour on the outskirts of Glasgow. The snow is quite wet but is now starting to lie on the wet ground. I dont expect it is going to come to much.

Here is the rainfall radar from meteox.

Heavy luxuriant snow since half eight tonight. A good thick covering on all surfaces, sadly enough the second heaviest snow all season. And if it keeps going it could take the title of the heaviest snow of the year. 3 inches. Whoopyday Dooo!!

The same here although with our low lying location we only managed about 3cm on grass/cars :)

Snow overnight left a covering which is now rapidly melting in the sunshine! Quite unexpected!

After a morning of frequent hail showers it is now snowing, not enough to leave a covering at the moment though.

Hail and sleet showers here :)

Aye- I can definitely confirm that. A brief dusting of hail on the grass as well.

Dartmoor webcam suggests that these showers have renewed cover above about 300m.

Not at all unusual in showery airstreams at this time of year.

Light snow has been falling here now since 1.20pm from convective showers that have been building up since the morning. Looking at the Radar it seems theres more to come.

Nothing here yet but the clouds are getting pretty dark, might see a bit of hail or sleet soon. Wife in Blackpool said it was quite heavy there this morning.
