Oh the poor wee thing!!!  Bless. How the hell did it not get blown away (camera not the cow lol)

I think it was a heavily weighted (100kg+) streamlined armour casing :(

Could we get someone to test one of their new HD type cameras please!! :(

At last I have seen the live streaming - what great clarity. Where are the team heading towards in that rain?

They're on the road!

Shame there isn't any sound.

They'll put the sound on sometimes to give updates etc, but it's not feasible to have it on 100% of the time.

Is it just me or is the stream back to front, they appear to be driving on the left! Can't quite make out the overhead signs but I think they are backwards as well.

Lol that is bizarre - will ask them to have a look at the webcam settings etc when they get a chance.

Just looking at current possibilities for today, and it appears the morning MCS has done a real job on much of the Texas risk area. SE OK into AR is doable from the DFW area but is horrible chase country and would put the team quite out of position. I personally would head up to the Panhandle and write off daytime chasing today, settling for the chance of some overnight elevated convection in the southern panhandle which would be a great photo op! After a late night, there wouldn't be a huge run to make tomorrow to the main risk area. Amarillo (and the Big Texan) isn't too far from the West Texas risk area which would also tear me in that direction :)

Of course, despite the MCS wrecking much of the main chase area, there are always chances of surprise events given a multitude of outflow boundaries forming. The best bet for that may well be further south though, again into nasty chase terrain. Also, I think this would be a needle in a haystack storm which may be hard to get onto.

Oh brilliant, thanks :)

Hey guys, great cam going on there. Any chance of spinning it round to face the interior every now & then to see who's in the truck with you? Oh & if Tom tries to video whilst driving just chop his and off :)

Anyway, have a great season out there, am keeping my fingers crossed for you but please don't steal all the 'nadoes before i get out there on the 20th.

Stay safe

Regards

Pete.
