Weather for Alfreton in Derbyshire

Last night we had about 1 cm of snow and frost. This afternoon the snow has melted away :cry: leaving to sunny intervals.

According to my hubby and Evanmorgan, Hertford in Hertfordshire has 2 inches of snow.

This isnt fair coz I havent seen good snow yet. I think its avoiding me.

Very Xmas card scenes where I live. I went for an afternoon walk on the hills in glorious afternoon sun, powder snow, thick ice on the pond ideal for skating as I waltzed across the surface. Lovely magenta sunset coming home to the Aga. Icicles around the garage so pretty. The only sadness is that I need to get a digital camera as I still only have 35mm, then I will be able to share this winter wonderland.

Mopsy thanks you for your interest and has asked me pass on his best wishes to you(he, of course, can't type himself; he's a rabbit).

I'm still a bit worried about sack-chill following his operation, but it's now been sufficient time since he was scrotally robbed that we will be getting him a Guinea Pig companion in a few days. In the meantime he's tucked up in fair-trade, organic, low-fat, gluten-free hay.

I have a concern. Guinea pigs, I believe, are sensitive little souls and considering you have christened the rabbit "Mopsy", pray tell, what are you going to inflict upon the poor guinea pig? Perhaps you should throw it open to the forum. Café chat is a little flat on riviting subjects right now, this could liven things up no end.

Can I suggest Beckham, although Beckham Bunny has more of a ring to it.
