Tornado Or Dontnodo

Upon looking at the BBC Points West adamantly stating that todays Rainshaft was a Waterspout I thought I would post up 15 Pictures just to see how easy is it for people to be tricked or make mistakes when spotting certain features within Storms or Dynamic Rainfall like todays.

Try not to Cheat and try to track down the pictures to Reports as that would defeat the Object of this - Just take a look at the picture and make an instant judgement and say yes or no.

So the 15 Pictures - How many are Tornadoes and how many are not

LOL @ Paul M's 15 'No!' answers. :)

I think they could all be 'Yes' Even No.8 which is and I'm 99.9% sure is and dust or land devil, theoretically a tornado but on a lesser damaging scale. Having seen one myself a few years ago when sitting outside, hot and sunny day with not a cloud in the sky, then... Sun lounger out, later there was a massive gust and the sun lounger mattress flew about 20ft and even upended the steel support frame below it.

Thankfully, it was unoccupied at the time. But in my conclusion, that must have been a weak land devil.

And Shermy, what time do you plan to announce the results tonight? Off out for my younger Brother's 36th Birthday drink so won't know until tomorrow morning at the earliest. :)

Regards.

Phil.
