what an interesting day after the boring spell of weather we have had recently, all morning i had heavy rainfall and some was very intense causing my garden to flood for a time.

the wind was calm most of the day, it picked up at around 14.45 all of a sudden i knew it was about to as i could see the sea cutting up rough with white tops.

the strongest winds have been during the last 2 hours or so, highest currently mean wind 40mph and gusts 55+ mph

i lve near to the coast on the highest part of land between me and the coast. so you could say its a bit drafty. and quite a while since it was this windy.

Its been wet....very very very very wet. My streets flooded we have sandbags out the font of the close door and Im too worried about the eldery woman below us to sleep right. If the water comes up any more she will be stuck =[
