I'd love to see more snowy pics as we're a little bit bare on the Midlands thread and there's not much chance of more yet.

Looking at the radar, it looks like some people are getting loads of the white stuff so can we see all the pics on one thread. You'll need to put your location though as I don't think the location within our profiles is working at the moment - a small price to pay for us having the forums back :-)

Hope this is in the right place. Please feel free to move to snow reports if not, mods, it'd just be nice to see everything on the front page of the main forum at the mo.

Get posting piccies everyone - can't wait to see them.

Jo

No replies to this one??!! I was expecting to see what we haven't so far this winter...........

And me as well - I think maybe people are just staying within their own location threads and aren't looking at the main board for topics any more. Hopefully, we'll get some snow pics in here when there's a gap in their snowfests :)

Okay will start off

Level Snow Measured of 10-12cm

Had about 2-3" last night and then got hit by the streamer from 5-8am which dumped another 3-4" - Had 4 lots of Thundersnow - In fact at one time this morning it looked and sounded like a normal Summer Thunderstorm only with a Blizzard raging outside.

Superb night for persistant heavy snow (at times blizzard conditions). Between 15cm and 20cm in Buntingford, East Hertfordshire.

Oh wow, love all the pics, especially the washing line one :-)

Looking at those, I reckon 4-5 inches is about what fell in the south east - you lucky guys!!!!

Hopefully I'll be able to post a few of my own come Sunday

Great pics, be nice if it can stick around for you. We had a dusting about 4pm yesterday, still on the grass and still very cold. Can't complain, at least it feels like nearly Christmas!! Took a look at Metcheck which has the cold until the big day for us, mind, it claimed it would be snowing here today too!!

Hey Jo..

For the first time ever I got organized this year and have done all the Christmas cards and shopping, presents etc and thought I'd lay the table early for the big day..

....got home from a late shift and someone had nicked the roof.. )-: and the tape measure !

Around an inch here in East Leeds.

Loving the pictures above. Should get some interesting icicles from the roof when the snow begins partly thaw, freeze and slide off.
