Just poked my head in the midlands thread and a lot of them are reporting about 1cm or 2 falling before the front passes.

Looks like this will be quite a small event. Hopefully the showers tomorrow will be better as has been said by a few in here!

Cheers mate,

Looks like I'm right on the line between snow and sleet, although Exeter looks like it might be getting some of the white stuff.

Temp fell away again (looked outside and I saw stars... literally) so that explains that.

Anyone able to do a radar image for TQ13/EX6? Pretty please? :winky: Either of those as I'm pretty much on the boundary

Mine has been the same mate, when sky has cleared it drops like a stone, but with the light snow showers it rises rapidly.

Yes i jut saw that also. still same warning though rain/sleet/snow.

I am quietly confident now i have to say that we shall see some snow in somerset even if we get some freezing rain first. That is very rare any way so ill be happy with that first along as it changes. Temperature is holding at -0.8c under cloudy skys now so looking good!

Snow showers over your way? Can see a drive up there tomorrow coming on!

Perhaps I'll have to take the laptop outside so I can check! :help:

Hi Zephyr, welcome to the forum. Good to see another Bristolian to add to the group. Temperature falling very gradually at the moment, this can only be a good sign.

Ha! I can get wireless down about 40feet from the house better than I can in some of the rooms. Work that one out :drinks:

Nothing wrong with using the laptop in the garden mate! laugh.gif

The snow showers have been very light and shortlived. Just ben outside and it looks very close to being sleety/snow. very fine so hard to tell.

Trouble is, while the laptop is wireless, the heating isn't... and I know 0c is a tad warmer than the last two days, its still not exactly tropical wink.gif

I'm more of a south east asia type climate person most of the time. So the last two winters are proving a bit of a shock at the moment!
