Oh Wow! Well spotted Tom there must be some convincing new model runs for them to issue those warnings!

Bl**** H***!!!

"There will be accumulations of 2 to 5 cm of fresh snow in many areas, with up to 10 cm likely in places, especially on higher ground."

Mother Nature has had mercy on us!!!!

Looks like it's a trip up Cleeve Hill this evening to do a snow dance and welcome in the blizzards

I love it how Dorset is about the only county in the UK to not be mentioned or have a heavy snow warning from this whole cold spell. Ok we have woke up to a dusting this morning but i mean proper snowfall!, the clouds do look very snowy from the south i must admit!

YES OMG I can hardly believe this... a last minute possible snow event - fancy that! Perhaps this is an old fashioned winter....

-1.7C now and we are under the cloud bank which should stop the sun raising temps too much, now IF we can just get that PPN here we might get a dusting finally :cold:

I think due credit must go to Ian Thomas, who predicted this on ThisIsGloucestershire yesterday, when there wasn't mention of this elsewhere!

"Gloucestershire Media weather expert Ian Thomas said more snow was expected to fall across the county.

“We’re likely to see another thick frost on Monday morning and a considerable amount of snowfall across the county during the afternoon,” he said."
