Even more showers appearing.

Also , i would of thought that as he low moves east it would start to drag the shows back south with it. ( just my thoughts )

Not sure how far north these other showers will push. They look like making it all the way over us.

2.0c here

yea its certainly stopped.

Tribe, the shower's have the explosive look about them on Sat24.

Sort of thing you would see in the Summer month's with some thunder..

Be nice to get some heavy snow shower's later as these can give nice accumulation's..

Not sure if they will get all the way up here though.

As Lynxus point's out.

Would of thought Cornwall and Devon most at risk...Southern counties mainly..

Hope Im incorrect

BBC Forecast for snow all along the south coast on Thursday, no further north than Taunton at a guess, possibly Tiverton.

Then another band a bit further north again.

That's subject to change of course and it was that annoying mild ramper.

This is what I posted on the other thread

"Good agreement from METO GM and GFS 12Z of a possible major snow event in the south west sun/mon/tue. GFS gives totals of 5cm to 20cm and it would hang around as well.

Also Friday/ possibly thursday needs to be watch due to a lot of precip just in the channel, if this can edge a bit further north then it could produce some nice snow for more southern areas (Dorset the most likely in the SW). And as Matt pointed out the front as it moves back on Thursday might give a bit of wintry precip. The 12Z NAM brings 1000-850 thicknesses down to the magic 130 level during thursday.

All in All alot to be thankful for. "

These are the precip ensembles for Dorset. Alot of support for snow on the turn of the decade (Thursday/Fri), even if it isn't shown on the ops run and it will be cold enough by then, also some support for the 3rd/4th/5th event.

I fully understand the gloom of the past 2 weeks, but one time eventually it will happen smile.gif

Sorry Iceburg, but that is so far in FI its not worth mentioning and getting the hopes up of lots of forum members. The models have been showing amazing cold weather and snow for more than two weeks and still nothing worth talking about for the SW.

Yep  Be sure to keep us posted about any snowfall

As dogs also mentions there seems to be some sferics, Not entirely unexpected but good.

That first "cell" thats moving up into bristol now i sgrowing very quickly, theres evidenly some good convection about.

There is also another broken cell / cells building further west of where the first one started.

This will also be something to keep an eye on.

My suggestion for that path would be up through bristol & cardiff then north-e.

Its also interesting to note the position of the of Low, There are signs that the stuff in West wales is starting to move south easterly .

Also worth keeping an eye on.

Temps are dropping here with 1.9c and 2.4c ( in longlevens area. )

I would expect the Cotswolds to get another blast of snow ( Anyone care to keep us updated with this? )

All eyes south and north and west and east.. ahh screw it.. just keep an eye out :hi:

Maybe this is why the meto have the warning valid till 3am ?

:whistling:
