Just below freezing here and clear - it will be interesting to see what the next decade brings - by the time it is over we may have a better idea as to who is right and who is wrong re Global Warming, or perhaps both sides are right in their different ways.

Typical El Nino summer day in Wellington, sunny with a high of 18C in the city and northerly winds gusting to 45 knots.

Nationwide high was 34C in Timaru today with gusty northwest winds and very low humidity.

There was a 17C difference between us and Blenheim this evening (which is only 30 miles away), and a difference in wind gusts of 20 knots.
