All this wishing for snow is paying off tonight guys. Stopped snowing here, a good two hours of moderate snow though.

Don't worry if it's snowing here it will snow again with you I'm almost in a direct line to swansea north but a little west about 20 miles.

RCT are normally quite good at clearing the roads so expect them soon.Fair play to caerphilly council also they are always spot on.every time it snows you can always get up caerphilly mountain from this side no problem - until you leave the council boundry and hit cardiff.getting down the mountain and into cardiff is never as easy.

Main road through church village is totally white snow depth almost level to the curb and seeing as its the main route from royal glamorgan hospital to pontypridd i would have thought it would have been gritted a lot more frequently.

rain today radar is forecasting "light snow showers" for Ponty right now and we've got a continous blizzard - feel like the eskimos are about to move in!

lol i can see polar bears on a470!! but no gritters or ploughs still!!! got some shots from front of house another main road completely blanketed about 3-4 cms! will post soon if i can find my usb connecter for phone!

Looks like i may get hit soon, if this does come off, Swansea could be in for its heaviest fall in snow for a while, maybe even more than last year.

yes, going by the radar. the northern extent of it should get you. should be starting quite soon too.

Had a good fall of snow here in Chirk, just dying out now after 8 hours of snow. Around 10+" where the wind left it be.

ditto same here not say its amazing as i have a conference call with saudi arabia at 4am - opposite extremes LOL! they will be smiling about it being +33 and we can be smiling about the white stuff! i think the gritters been caught out - bad reporting from bbc ( thought I would say it again!!)

Cant go to bed yet may never see the likes of this again once in thirty years they are saying (not sure I belive that though) but at 44 I would be 74!!!

I think I will stay up and hope there will be too much snow to stop me goinf to work tomorrow
