That's quite some conditions there updraft. Snow beginning to fall again now but just took this as the setting sun was catching those showers out to sea:

yup, aslthough, one minute it's coming down thick and fast, next it's just a flurry. it's about 3" ontop of the shed now.

Continuous heavy snow now in central Folkestone. Fine grained but lots of it! Grey, dense overcast. No more blue at all!

Away from the here and now, is anyone looking at the models for next week, how are we looking for possible snow? (according to those on the Model thread there has been a turn around but how will this effect the SE?

The most frustrating thing is i can see snow clouds to the south and to the north of me,they just dont want to come here.

Just had a look on the Netweather radar and the prcip under that is just really light. Doesn't seem like much?

ED: or should i say, anything spectacular?

The snow in the North sea so that hopefully will make it over here later (as 1 chap circled) is not showing on the Net weather radar yet. It is further NE than that radar shows.

In Eastbourne we just had a 5 minute mini blizzard, very short but very heavy and covered pretty much everything. Temp dropped from 2.3 to 0.3c in 10 minutes!

Edit: becuase it made no sense!
