Mauna Loa eruption is now over and not expected to resume. However I note that the volcano is still inflating so i wouldn't be surprised at new eruptions occurring in the near future.

Kilauea has also stopped erupting although this could be a pause in the present phase.

Looks like the present eruption is close to ending very little activity today. It's also possible the vent has moved off screen. However the floating island of rock had almost submerged yesterday has now floated back up showing a reduced effusion rate.

Well the eruption is still on going to m y surprise. The vent and number of vents keeps changing as does the position of the vent. Early today there were vents now it's back to one that seems to be quite vigorous.

Either they've shifted the camera or the pattern of the eruption has changed. Anyway we have clear lava flows and cone building from the splatter rather than a lava lake at the moment.

From the above tweet you can see Etna has been active again.

News of a possible imminent eruption of 10km3 of magma at the Askja volcano in Iceland..... very exciting and would probably affect the UK if this thing blows up

I like how he wants to get there. Any crazy pilots he's asking for. Until yesterday it has been fairly quiet tremor wise in Iceland. Today it's fairly quiet as well.

Icelandic earthquakes are picking up could be a new eruption in the coming months in the Reykjanes peninsula again. Also we know Askja may also pop sometime.

So it was a high end vei 5, almost 6. Just goes to show the damage a 6 or 7 would do, not just to the local area but the whole country if it happened on land.

Checking the map today and all Iceland volcano's are back at green.

This is the only comment I can find on the Icelandic website

Yesterday at 09:41 a swarm started in Mýrdalsjökull glacier. The largest recorded event was a magnitude 4.6 at 09:52. Earthquakes have been felt in Vín and Þórsmörk. The intensity of the swarm decreased significantly in the afternoon, but The Met Office continues to follow the activity closely. The Aviation Colour Code has been lowered to green.

Yesterday morning an earthquake swarm started near Reykjanestá. The largest earthquake so far was a M3.4 at 08:08 in the morning. No reports that the quake was felt.
