Askja is the one to keep an eye on. Being showing continuous unrest for a while now.

If Askja erupts the lava composition will be interesting as when Bárðarbunga erupted the dyke actually got to Askja so the magma's should be a mixture.

Mauna Loa (Hawaii) has erupted after 38 years of dormancy, no word yet on the Observatory Telescopes or any immediate evacuation plans for the more populated areas, but VAAC has issued a ashfall warning.

Well this eruption caught them out. Only yesterday they were saying no signs of any impending eruption.

Already moved to the north east rift zone. Sadly no live web cams

Only fissure is now active  but I wouldn't be surprised if more fissures opened further down slope.  Kilauea is still erupting into a lava lake as it slowly fills the caldera that formed in the last collapse.

Both volcanos still erupting in Hawaii. It's fairly rare that both erupt at the same time.

There are 2 fissures, that's not 2 volcanoes?

I've read that ash has gone up to around 55 k feet.

Is this likely to spreads around the globe?.

No impact from this. Semeru regularly remote like this 55,000 feet isn't actually that high for volcanic standars
