Turned out to be a showery and mainly cloudy day again just had a hail storm for around 10 mins. Now the sun is shining. Newhall weather station has now just broken the April rain fall for the past two years, but that wouldn't have been very hard anyway.

Is there any reason for the sudden lack

of showers in Ireland??

Just when things were beggining to

get going with hail and sleet i look

at the radar and there is hardly a

shower anywhere in ireland

The BBC did mention spock the far west would start to brighten up through the afternoon so maybe that would explain.

Sunny here at the moment had on and off showers alll day, 2 of which contained hail.

Hey Essex Snow we have some very evil clouds near us,heard there's a T-storm near Southend, there's definatly something on it's way here, just don't know what!

Hey ya kold weather, just drove thro' a Storm on my way home from Southend. Its certainly made the drive home rather more eventful than normal. :D:D8)

Currently 6c, surrouded by dark clouds, NW'ly which gusts higher during rainfall. Todays top temp only 9c.

I've been too far west for the real action today.

It's been sunshine and rain showers all the way, nothing really heavy either.

Cool in the wind with a max of 10c.

A clear and soon to be moonlit night on the way. 6c now.
