I forgot about that masterpiece Tom. On the bright side, owing to high fuel prices, next years tour will be using Tuk Tuks, the first core punch should be entertaining

Yeah that's fine, I can hear Paul now going F*k F*k these damn tuk tuks.

Are you getting the soopa versions, or the go nowhere versions?

Just keen to know chasing a storm in a tuk tuk could well be interesting....officer!

Going to have to leave it late this year. Left my job to go back in to education so money is a bit of an issue but i'm trying to save. If I get to a point where i'm able to book it'll most likely be sold out as places are rapidly going ! May have to go on tour 6 by myself

2 questions...

ND filters or a polarizing filter?

Do I need a step-down voltage converter for my UK appliances once in the states?

Cheers

Hi Lewis, personal choice I guess, I go with a polarizing filter myself, never tried the nd route but I imagine the results could be great, could give you more to think about and I like to keep it as close to point and shoot as possible as there is a lot going on sometimes (hopefully :D ) and I just take a 4 way extension with the us two pin plug convertor on the end, seems to do the trick :)

To those wondering your laptop and camera chargers are usually rated 110/240v check on the charger so all you need is an adapter for your uk plug

For anyone who hasn't booked flights yet I believe British Airways will be launching a 'seat sale' to 100 destinations from 8am thursday December 22nd. It might be worth checking their website in the morning.

Seems like the BA sale to DFW is only for dates between 17 Jan 12 - 14 Mar 12 :( Bah! Coming out at £540 odd at the moment

Cheers Craig, 77 pages :o I'll save that for some xmas reading :drinks:

Good orning and happy boxing day!!

I am after a bit of clarification if pooosible!!

Myself and my good lady are booked on your 4 and I was wondering which dates the rest of your 4 are flying to and from DFW!

It would be nice to get on the same flight as the rest of tour 4!!

Some info on this would be ace!

Cheers!!

I sent my Christmas wish list with just on item this year.

"Please Santa, you have some 4 months to make it, so catching a tornado would be nice .

PS Please can you give the Sherminator some extra powers this year so we are right at the point of touch down?

Thank you"

Hello there,

For tour 4 I have booked the BA0193 on 30th May. I have been told this is the ideal travel time and flight and the 'chaser' flight for tour 4. Bear in mind you will need to book a hotel for the night in Dallas before the official meet up/first chase day. The best western in East Irving is the one i have been told to go with as this is where the majority of chasers stay the night before.Return 11th June BA0192.
