Does it look to a trained eye that cells are developing slightly ahead of that area over Brest....? ( NW radar )

cheers,

Steve.

I thought that, it also appears the movement has a slightly more northerly track than earlier.

Fingers crossed some more cells fire up :good:

My Strike Alert is beeping 3 times. Nothing up here in Leeds but I think the storm in Doncaster may be too far east.

In Solihull, Birmingham, I can happily report bright lightning and rumbles of thunder. Getting closer too... It looks like we're about to get a bit wet here!

If you lived in Rennes you would be willing it North. I think its a non starter for my part, despite the cloud aloft. Cant even see anything at all occurng overnight, shame as the humidity is awful. Just cant see the development or trajectory coming off, but I would love to eat my hat lol.

Well that was exciting... Two flashes and accompanying thunder. Rained a bit too.

I think it's looking much better for the south east than everyone is making out

Looks tasty over France expect to be woken at around 2-3 by thunder

I don't think Nick F and others (estofex torro) got it that wrong it was just delayed a bit and the north east got there convection as expected

My strike alert keeps doing 3 beeps as well here in cambridgeshire? Very strange as I can see stars outside. Maybe there's a high-altitude storm nearby?

The odd rumble of thunder here, but as always the rain misses my area by about 10 mile :wallbash:

Is there any chance that those beeps on the Strike Alert in Cambridgeshire could be something to do with the lightning here?

Incidently, it's gone very quiet now... Maybe it's burnt out already?

Just seen lightning in the distance here in Crossgates and I can hear faint rumbles.

Been outside and it's too far east. The flashes are just illuminating the clouds in the distance.
