Yeah, but I am generally loved by my sensor, so I expect nights like this...

I reckon you don't even have a weather station, you're just stood outside giving us a judgement.

I'm in something of a broad valley, the land gradually descending to the mighty River Alt about a mile away. Frost-hollow straw clutched.

Hello mate- my dad used to work at Doxford enterprise. Good to see a mackem posting!

I like the name too. "Snow phall" is a real contradiction in terms!

I'm not sue frost hollows necessarily qualify tonight. I'm not in a frost hollow, I'm on top of a hill.. it should really be the opposite way around, but right now it's coldest here, and warmest lower down. It's a little confusing.

Don't forget BBC2 at 9pm "Will it snow?" guys n gals. Supposed to have one of Nick L's lecturers on the program and there are predictions for the forthcoming infamous winter. 2011/12 the year the British Isles froze over. :D:cold::diablo:

Here in cloudy Newbury, Berkshire it's 8.9c.

Elsewhere however, courtesy of weatheronline, see http://tinyurl.com/cg8kpmp

Only Shap it seems is below 0c at 8pm but that's early days.

Cheers

Oh cool. The canals were so frozen around my area, that at one point there were cows crossing them! And I'm talking about the animals!
