1.0C actually falling quite sharply now, so 0C by 11pm is almost a certainty, and if not then, then 100% certainly by midnight.

there's usually a very sharp drop about 4am onwards, so really is -3C that unlikely? I'm not convinced, in fact for those already around or below 0C, I think -5C is possible.

Oooft yes please. But maybe a more n/ne kink with a sea breeze by dawn here. Some freezing fog/mist would be cool though!

Well it's 0.9C here now and normally I would expect fog by now, but if there isn't by now, there generally won't be, so it'll be clear all the way now I think!

That "will it snow" was a load of rubbish!

Anyway, we have a grass frost with some cars frozen despite the temperature being 4.9C, and it has been for a while now.

1.8c here so a ground frost for certain not sure about air frost as I hear talk of an easterly breeze and I'm only 20 miles from the coast hope it stays off till the morn.

-0.4c now, grrr. Kettle and central heating is on and so is the kitchen lights, we might see a slight fall in temp at 11pm (will try and get the heating off without anyone noticing!!).

Infact a slight 2km/h NW breeze has picked up and continued, now 3km/h. Aaah rubbish. Hard frost looking less likely, curse of the me!

-0.2c, won't be long before 0c is reached. *cries*

Slight frost, current temp 2.7c,hope to get my first air frost of the season tonight.

Not sure what the temp is - but we have an air frost with white surfaces all around. I note Shap is below freezing - probably about -1 degrees now.

We had an air frost last night and some surfaces hidden from the sun were still white at 11am.

Will be interesting to see how low we go tonight, I think -3 or -4 degrees is easily possible, may even get down to -5 degrees, which is preety cold for a November night.

Suspect Shap, or Redesdale Camp will be the coldest spot, at sub -5 degrees.

The last couple of nights have put me in winter mode and have been a welcome repreive from the endless mild nights we have endured for a good 2 weeks. Alas tomorrow night will mark a swift return to balmy nights for the next few days.

STILL -0.2c, no breeze. Hoping for damage limitation and temperatures to start falling again soon :)

A nice hard frost would be a good way to end a cool blip, with mild cloudy nights for the next week.

-0.6C Drop per hour currently

Off to bed now hope it dips below 0c and get a minus number on the board for a low of the month :D
