Rain well and truely set in and a steady thaw of the snow, ah well it was good while it lasted and credit to the Met Office for getting things broadly correct in a tricky set up.

my temperature isonly 0.4c still with steady rain I think its just a case of uppers not cold enough. Just hope I have a little left in morning.

Was going to go to town for a drink but roads are still bad and cant be bothered with hassle.

Well it's only going to be 'mild' for a couple of days, then it's going to get cold again. Someone mentioned Wednesday? But I haven't really paid attention to the models for the last couple of days due to the snow today. Mind you, I don't think anyone else has really as they are so wrapped up I this current snow too! Lol!

Mostly rain now, hopefully wont melt the snow too much. Only 13 hours ago the temp was -8C and dp -10C. So much for the cold being stubborn to shift, didnt stay for long once the Atlantic moved in.

i think it depends on where you live, with regards of how less cold its going to get.

far west like Cornwall are forecast 8c for tomorrow, yet the further east of our region the forecast from 4-6c.

some models bring in a easterly breeze as soon as Tuesday/Wednesday.

Saw some nice snow fall in the hills of West Dorset this afternoon, makes a change to have seen a slow change from snow to rain rather than the usual 10 mins of snow then rain, it was a different world up in those hills but guess it is probably raining up there now!
