still snowing like buggery down here ..its now pitching on the roads..thought this was ment to turn to rain by now :o

This makes me feel much better hearing this :)

The main band of PPN isn't too far away now, I hope it can fall as snow here too!

Ian F tweeted earlier that Wilts was in a snowier zone for tonite, compared to last night's forecast for this after/eve.

You should get a decent few ins i'd think.

V light here now - quite wet snow laying as well

According to Wunderground, it's 0.4ºc here with a Dew Point of -0.1ºc...

I don't like all these reports of rain feels like we on borrowed time...

Im keeping an eye on charter house weather station as that is further north west from here so if that goes above 1c its game over.

Turned to rain a little after 1pm and the snow has all gone now. Nice and foggy with it.

as long as that dew point can stay down it would be conducive for snow from heavier pulse out west but its gonna be a close call. :clapping:

Remember the bbc graphics updated around mid day did show snow holding in a line just to the west of wells on points west until 8-9pm so maybe people may find that they get a few hours now of sleet and snow in heavier ppn.

No rain here as of yet still snowing and a fair bit more then I was expecting few cm's on the ground at the moment not sure how much though.
